The dog was brought to us by the owners,asked to take it and promised that as soon as the construction of their house is completed,they will definitely take the animal and thank us for your help.
We were asked to look after the Doberman girl for only a few months,because the construction of the house,according to the owners,was going to the final stage.We took the dog,exchanged phone numbers with its owner.
No one came back for Luna,the phone number turned out to be fake,as well as the address,so the dog remained in the shelter.We were constantly trying to find Luna new owners,but people were afraid to take an adult Doberman,although the dog’s character is calm,she is smart and obedient.
The dog did not look sick,but her mood changed often,so it was decided to show it to the vet.The vet considered the dog healthy,just in case he only advised to give it vitamins.
After 6 months,mood problems remained.One day we were visited by an acquaintance who studied to be a veterinarian for the third year,having learned about Luna’s problem,she assumed that the dog had oncology.We couldn’t believe it for a long time,but in the end we had to accept the situation.
It took 4 years to complex treatment,but it yielded results.Luna has become more active.The vet said that as soon as Luna becomes better,she still needs to be taken to the clinic for examination.
Luna is no longer young,she can’t find a new home,we want to let her live the remaining time without suffering from pain.
