A dog named Pebbles was officially recognized as the oldest dog in the world:the other day she turned 22 years and two months old.Pebbles was born on March 28,200 and still remains healthy and active,especially at night.
The record was confirmed by representatives of the Guinness Book of Records.Pebble lives in a family of spouses from South Caroline(USA).Curiously,the owners of the dog applied for recognition of the record after reading in the news about 21-year-old chihuahua named Toby Kate,who was given the title of the oldest dog in the world last March.
The record was confirmed on March 16.2022.At that time,Toby Kate was 21 years and 66 days old.This far exceeds the normal life expectancy of chihuahua,which varies from 12 to 18 year.
